separation & singularity

I think if you googled the most common adjective in play in the global narrative it would be ‘unprecedented’. There is no doubt that we live in interesting and tumultuous times. It seems there is always another twist to the story just around the corner. I like to view current geopolitics as a super-thriller, a New York times best-seller, with many twists and turns as the plot unfolds.

But sometimes the plot just becomes too convoluted to remain plausible, and the author loses a certain amount of credibility and glue. The astute reader loses interest and enthusiasm. I dare to suggest this is where we are currently at in the New World Order game of thrones.

The story has basically lost the plot!

The distinction between truth and falsity, between objective journalism and subjective propaganda, between history and histrionics is just becoming too far fetched to retain any credibility. Especially if one listens to the proclamations coming from the corridors of power. Their resemblance to rational reality is almost comical.

I find the only way now to watch the ‘news’ is as a good old-fashioned BBC soap opera. One is not looking for information but to be entertained by the stupidity and temerity of the ruling elite.

Just before any 2-stroke engine (mower, brushcutter etc.) runs out of fuel, it revs really high like a chook running around after its head has been cut off. So too with declining empires. They rage around the known world creating havoc, proclaiming their enduring strength and power, provoking wars and generally running amuck as they disintegrate from within under the weight of their own debt and hubris.

Every empire throughout history has run the same gauntlet. This one is no exception.

But this one is different in its complexity and enormity. For the world truly is now totally interconnected whether that is by global trade, the world wide web, the multinational corporatocracy, international agencies or the rule of the global elite.

Thus, when this false edifice does come crashing down it will take the whole western world with it. it is truly hard to envisage what exactly will remain and what will be the new thrust of human evolution and society.

For this is precisely what we are living through – not just an empire change nor a geopolitical twist. This is a fundamental change in what it means to be human. It is an evolutionary leap in human consciousness from a state of separation to one of singularity.

Humanity will realise that it is One Species with 7 billion cells. I call this species consciousness. Human awareness will become holistic in that it will finally perceive and appreciate the oneness of life on planet Earth; that we are all interconnected and interdependent upon each other for global survival. Every single piece of the web of life is essential.

We will realise we simply cannot bomb our way to success or subjugation. That we simply cannot dictate our will on others, and that might is not synonymous with right. There are always consequences many of which are unforeseen and unintended but inevitable, nonetheless.

Singularity is that state of being where all life is sacred and needs to be honoured or no single life is meaningful. Let’s hope and pray we get there before the bombs blow us all up!
